terms and conditions

Terms & Conditions

  1. School sessions are either 4 hours (9 am – 1 pm) or 4 hours 45 minutes (8:15 am – 1 pm) each day, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). The school year is from September to the end of June (closed for two weeks in December for Christmas, midterms and two weeks at Easter).

  2. Fees are payable by direct debit monthly in advance, on the first day of each month (whether your child is sick or on holidays).

  3. The monthly direct debit is calculated by multiplying the weekly charge by 52 and divided by 12 to create a fixed monthly fee payable for each of the months September through June (including December).

  4. In the event of the school being temporarily closed or your child is not admitted due to illness or other good reason, no liability for any monetary or other loss will be borne by the school.

  5. This agreement may be terminated by either party on giving one month’s notice (without prejudice to forfeiture of booking deposit, if a parent terminates the contract prior to end of academic school year ie. end of June).

  6. It is important that the school be closed at the scheduled times. We reserve the right to impose a surcharge where collection of a child is persistently late or problematic.

  7. We welcome children with special needs provided these are within our competency and resources (or special needs assistant being provided).

  8. Fees may be reviewed on two month’s notice.

  9. We start each day with the wake-up aroma of toast, cut into bite-size nibbles, facilitating social interaction and bonding between the children as they arrive. We swiftly settle down to our “work”, and break for brunch at about 11:15 am when there is a lively buzz between the children. The school supplies a snack of fruit and a cracker at the end of the day. The children are asked to bring their own lunch and a drink in order to help us prepare them for greater independence and the transition to primary school.
